Iron
Iron is a trace element which is needed by the body for the formation of blood. Iron from meat sources is more quickly absorbed into the body than from plant sources - but not to worry! Vegans tend to have a high dietary iron intake, as high levels of vitamin C in the diet enhances iron absorption!
