B-12 is important for vegans!  This form of B vitamin is usually found in foods that are from animals, and is crucial in maintaining healthy nerve and red blood cells and is also needed to make DNA.  Vitamin B-12 is actually a bacteria found in animal products, but vegans can certainly get their daily requirements of B-12 while still avoiding animal products and their bacteria!
